ELMPSSA TRAINING SESSION

There will be 3 training sessions on    TBC – Start Time TBC

Charlestown Netball Courts. Please be prepared with a drink bottle, ankle braces (if needed), a netball (if you have one). Wear comfortable clothes appropriate for training.

Please complete the permission slip and bring it along to the first training session. If you’re unable to make it to the training session, please let team manager know.

VENUE:

Maitland Federation Centre

10 Bent Street

Maitland 2320

TIME: 

9:00 am to 2:00 pm (please arrive at 8:45 am for 9:00 am start)

COST:

$10.00 to be paid to the Team Manager.

 INFORMATION:

• All players must wear their zone uniform.
• Please bring adequate food, refreshments and sun protection.
• Canteen facilities will also be available on the day for all players and parents.

FORMAT OF TRIAL

• From 9:15am to 9:45am players will participate in a skills session run by team managers. This helps give selectors a first impression of the skill level of all players.
• From 9:50am zone teams then take part in a series of round robin matches.
• Selectors are appointed to watch each match.
• There will be a lunch break after round 5 at 11:45am to 12:30pm.
• A squad of approximately 20 players will be announced at the conclusion of the round robin matches.

FORMS:

All students must complete the ELMPSSA Permission Note/Medical Form and Code of Conduct and hand to the Team Manager on the day. Students cannot take part in the trial if these notes are not provided. They must be signed by the school Principal.
