TIME:
9;00 am to 12:00 pm Please arrive at 8:30 am for a 9:00 am start.
Students should only trial if they are willing to travel and compete at the NSWPSSA Rugby Union Girls 7’s Invitational Tournament Monday 9th September 2024 – Tuesday 10th September 2024.
COST:
$10 cash (the exact amount would be appreciated) is to be paid to the Hunter convener on the day.
In order to trial, students must be turning 11 or 12 years of age in the current year and have experience in rugby or other contact football codes.
EQUIPMENT
- Individual nominees will be given a jersey for the day.
- All players must wear a mouth guard and football boots when playing.
- Please bring your own water bottle (clearly labelled) and adequate sun protection.
- Please bring adequate food and refreshments. There is no canteen facility.
FORMAT OF TRIAL
- Skills sessions and, if applicable, trial matches will be conducted to assist with the selection process during the day.
- Final selections are based on overall performances of players on the day.
FORMS
All students must complete the Hunter Consent Form and Permission to Play Rugby Union Consent Form, and hand to the convener on the day. Students cannot take part in the trial if these notes are not provided. They must be signed by the school Principal.
All competitors and spectators must abide by the Hunter SSA code of conduct located on the Hunter applications and forms page.
