TIME:
8:00 am – 2:30 pm
Arrive at 8:30 am for a 9:00 am start.
1500m and Discus begin at 8:00 am

COST:
$10.00 per student to be paid to school.
ENTRIES:
Each school may enter 2 students for 100m, 200m, 800m. (There is no qualifying time for these races)
1500m is open to students who placed 1 – 6 at ELMPSSA Zone Cross Country. Schools will be sent names of students.
Each school may enter 2 students for each field event if they meet the qualifying distance or height.
EVENTS
1500m and Discus begin at 8:00 am
EQUIPMENT:
- Students to wear appropriate footwear in all events.
- Students bring a water bottle, adequate food and refreshments. A canteen will be operating on both days.
- Students wear sunscreen and bring a hat
- asthmatics should bring puffer.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
- Age groups for Field Events: 200m and 800m are:
Juniors 8, 9, 10 years 11 years 12/13 years
- SPIKES permitted in Age Races, 200m, High Jump and Long Jump events only. When spiked shoes are worn the maximum length for all track events and long jump is 7mm. For high jump it is 9mm.
- Spikes are not allowed in 800m or relays due to safety precautions.
- High Jumps begin at qualifying height – distances below will not be measured.
- CANTEEN will be operating.
- FIRST AID will be provided by St Johns Ambulance.
- All Age Races are 100m – We are using timing gates.
- RELAYS – children to stay in own lane after passing on the baton
- CANCELLATIONS will be made by sms to sportspersons and on the website.
FIRST AID:
St Johns Ambulance will be in attendance.
