ORIENTEERING INITITATIVE
Great opportunity for teachers to experience Orienteering and learn the benefits for your students in just 30 minutes!!!!!
Newcastle Orienteering Club will hold its UFO series in February and March (Term 1, Weeks 5,6,7,8) on Wednesday afternoons. Call in on your way home from School to see Orienteering in action – participate – organise coaching – learn more.
In summary all events will have 2 courses – a longer course about 5km and a shorter course of 2.5 to 3 km. There will also be a mini course suitable for novices and children.

28th Feb Blue Wren Creek at Elermore Vale
6th March Hunter Wetlands Map, Shortland
13th March Greenpoint Reserve, Belmont
20th March Newcastle Sports Grounds, Cooks Hill

There will be people to talk to, advise and discuss your school’s needs from 4:45 each Wednesday. If you’d like to participate entry will be FREE for teachers (and their families – Mini course).
