Arrive at the venue before 9: 30am 

Finish 2:15pm

Students should only trial if they are willing to travel and compete at the NSWPSSA AFL Championships -Wednesday 13th to Friday 15th June 2026

COST: 

$10 cash (the exact amount would be appreciated) is to be paid to the convener on the day.

EQUIPMENT

• Students must wear football boots and a mouth guard when trialling.
• Please bring a water bottle, sun protection and your lunch, recess and snacks.

FORMAT OF TRIAL

• Teams are divided to take part in a tournament during the morning.
• Skills sessions including handball, bouncing and kicking will also be conducted to assist with the selection process during the day.
• A selection of players will be invited to participate in a final possibles versus probables match.
• Final selections are based on overall performances of players on the day. The focus will be on identifying players who have handball, bouncing and kicking skills and who are team players.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

• All students must complete the ELMPSSA Permission Note/Medical Form and Code of Conduct and hand to the convener on the day. Students cannot take part in the trial if these notes are not provided. They must be signed by the school Principal.
• All competitors and spectators must abide by the Hunter SSA code of conduct located on the Hunter applications and forms page.
• Any postponement will be announced on Hunter SSA website and the Hunter SSA Facebook page.
