Please arrive at the venue by. 8:30 am for a 9:00 am start.
COST:
Cost – $6.30 per competitor ($4.30 pool entry and $2 PSSA levy) paid to school.
$3.20 spectator on entry to the pool.
MULTI CLASS EVENTS
Eastlakes PSSA, Hunter SSA and NSWPSSA encourages students with intellectual, physical and sensory disabilities to participate in the swimming program. The following multi-class events will be run at Eastlakes PSSA and Hunter Primary Swimming Championships: 50m Backstroke, 50m Breaststroke, 50m Butterfly, 50m Freestyle and 100m Freestyle. Entrants for multi-class events must complete at their school and ELMPSSA zone carnival before nominating for the regional championships and must have the correct classification protocols completed.
Please note: multi-class athletes must have their disability classified and a copy of their classification certificate must be available if required. For further information about classification categories and how classifications are verified, refer to the NSWPSSA handbook and the school sport multi class competitive sport information.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
- ELMPSSA Zone is running a one-day carnival. All events will be TIMED FINALS.
- Students to bring adequate food, refreshments, hat and sun protection.
- A canteen will be open.
- Students will need to sit in their school area while not competing.
- It is recommended that students arrive at the pool ready to compete in order to limit the use of change room area.
- All competitors and spectators must abide by the ELMPSSA Code of Conduct.
- Use of change rooms available.
- Schools will be notified of successful students who will take part in Hunter PSSA Swimming Championships at The Forum – University of Newcastle on 16th March 2026.
